    Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, Edward Shenton

Mass Market Paperback (Charles Scribner's Sons, March 15, 1970)
Accepatble Condition Softcover Edition published by Charles Scribner's Sons, N.Y., 1970, 428 pages with illustrations. Cover shows wear (some scuffing, creasing & edge wear). The first 50 pages has some rippling from being wet at one time though there is no smell. Text is generally clean but well-worn but still a readable copy. The Classic tale of backwoods Florida and the tender relationship of a young boy and his tame fawn first published in 1939. It won a Pulitzer Prize Award in 1939 and later was made into a major motion picture in 1946 and starred Gregory Peck, Jane Wyman and Claude Jarman Jr. (all who received Oscars for their roles).
